Her father was James Ironside and her mother was Isabella ?. He died at Backhill, Lethenty on 4 September 1866 aged 82 years and she died on 14 December 1853 aged 70 years.

  2. Mary Ironside born 30 November 1852 in the parish of Fyvie - died 22 November 1934
  3. James born 16 August 1856 in the parish of Fyvie - died 16 November 1926 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in the parish of St Nicholas, Aberdeen. Had a relationship with Isabella Webster
  4. Jessie born 3 August 1858 in the parish of Fyvie - died 6 April 1891 at Kogarah in the parish of Sydney, Australia
  5. Alexander born 4 May 1861 in the parish of Fyvie
  6. Ann born 9 July 1865 in the parish of Fyvie

Son James' details come from his death registration which I have a copy of. His death was registered by his wife who's address is given as 376 Holburn Street, Aberdeen.
I found Alexander's death registration on Scotland's People where it gave his parents as James and Elizabeth Massie. The informant was George Cran(?) of Berryhill, Millbrex, brother-in-law.
Heather Smith has kindly passed on the following details from ANEFHS MI records which she came across during her researches:

I found this recorded in Fyvie Deaths as printed by Aberdeen & NE Family History Society - thought it belonged to me until I reached home. It might help you - Ref. A26 "Erected by Alexander Mutch in memory of his Mother-in-law Isabella Ironside died 14 Dec 1853 aged 70 yrs; her husband James Ironside died Backhill, Lethenty 4 Sep 1866 aged 82 yrs. Above Alexander Mutch, farmer Backhill, Lethenty died 10 Jun 1888 aged 66 and Elizabeth Ironside his wife died 18 Jun 1891 aged 69. (Printed on the back) - In loving memory of Jessie, 4th daughter of Alexander Mutch died at Kogarah, Sydney 6 Apr 1891 aged 32. Mary Ironside Mutch his 2nd daughter died 22 Nov 1934 aged 82.
