Shared Research + 1929 Mutches Genealogy
July 2009 - Latest News on the website covering the history of the Mutch family name in North East Scotland.
Shared research adds to site coverage
The growth of the data available on the website is due to the willingness of many individuals to share their research so that others can benefit. Over recent weeks I have received information from three researchers who have added new details both linking more family lines and increasing the number of Mutches in the database. Details are:
-
Jean Gibson has passed on her research which added a lot of details on [J9] James + Ann Black, [A28] Alexander + Jane Blyth and [G15] George + Jean Glennie. There is a link to the full details provided under [J9].
-
Nancy Loe shared her findings which included linking [D2] David + Elspet Davidson as parents of [J11] James and James + Esther Nicol and confirming this couple as parents of both [T1] Thomas + Elizabeth Will and [P6] Peter Lang + Ann McBeath. She was also able to confirm additional children to the family lines T1 and P6.
-
Jacqui Campbell is descended from Andrew, youngest son of [R11] Robert + Jessie Wallace and provided details of his surviving children. As this family is listed in the 1929 Genealogy of the Mutches (E23) I took the opportunity to add as many of the children listed in the book as I could. I also did this for the other families listed in the book. This should make it easier for researchers to find the correct family line.
The result of all the above is that we now have details of 1,375 Mutches and 502 spouses.
