Nancy Loe had sent me a large pdf with updated details of the family of James + Esther Nicol. I’m ashamed to admit that this lay on my ToDo pile for far too long, but now it’s been dusted off and entered.

Apart from many additional items relating to the descendants of J11, Nancy had been able to verify the suspicion we had held for a long time, that the William listed under W12 was a son of this family. She also found the correct parents and other details for William’s wife Ann Degalty, which corrected the data for W12 previously provided by David Mutch.
