Descendants of Alexander Mutch
Excellent site giving a complete lineage of Alexander Mutch, first wife Lydia Crowell and second wife Catherine Nicholson, from Prince Edward Island, Canada. Alexander was born in 1756 in (or around) Aberdeen.
Dave Hunter has done a great job with this site but it hasn't been updated in a while. You can however buy a copy of the 1985 edition of J. Robert Mutch's "Genealogy of the Mutch Family" here.
Genealogy of English Mutches
If you are not able to find your Mutch ancestors here then maybe they belonged to the family lines based in Chesire, England. This very well maintained site has the best listing of these I have found.
And if anyone can explain the two concentrations of the Mutch surname in two diverse locations in the UK, I'd love to hear from you.
Mutches linked to Diack family
I came across a number of marriages between Mutches and Diacks which led me to this website.
However this is another site that doesn't use "https" so you might have a problem getting it to load in your browser.

This is the official site of the UK Government's General Register Office for Scotland where you can access online digital copies of the original records for births, marriages and deaths in Scotland. This is a great boon for researchers outside the UK, just register, pay a small fee and off you go.
List of Old Parish Registers - National Records of Scotland
Parish boundaries and naming has been changing (and continue to change) since they were first created. Therefore, for consistency in searching, I have tried to use those defined in the "List of the Old Parish Registers" published by the General Register Office for Scotland in June 1975 (Revised March 2008). This is a link to the latest online updates.
Allans of Peterhead
A site detailing the family history of Jim Allan. Although it isn't active it contains a huge ammount of information mostly for families in Peterhead and the surrounding areas. There are several Mutches listed there.
Deceased Online
A searchable database of registers by Country, Region, County, Burial Authority or Crematorium free of charge. Thanks to Grant Bowman for telling me about this site.

A site offering free access to a fully searchable index of over 520,000 Scottish wills and testaments dating from 1500 to 1901. Purchase high quality colour digital images of related documents for only 5GBP each (around 8 US Dollars). Great if your Mutch was rich enough to make a will.
