Parish boundaries and naming has been changing (and continue to change) since they were first created. Therefore, for consistency in searching, I have tried to use those defined in the "List of the Old Parish Registers" published by the General Register Office for Scotland in June 1975 (Revised March 2008)

Also, where the parish lies in Aberdeen City or Aberdeenshire, only the parish name is used. Where the parish listed lies elsewhere the county and/or country is appended.
